Yes, I have the beginners rod and lure, what I cant seem to do is catch any fish. When I cast it they just ignore it or I get a message saying im not high enough level to catch this fish. Where am I supposed to find the beginner fish?

Near the fishing shop, on the docks. There are tons of beginning fish there.
