I few years ago I considered selling my GBA SP (*cough* along with my aluminum collectors case w/ all accessories). Went online to find comparable prices; everywhere I looked, secondhand SP's were selling for $40-60.

Nintendo products are valuable af. Even after years, their console (originally costed 100 bucks) has only decrease the price by 60-40 dollars lol. Though the version with the front lit lights still cost around 50-100 bucks
Anyways, my final decision would be getting a GBA SP lol.
GBA SP has more access to some of the older game library to during the Gameboy's lifespan while the DS can only play GBA games. A DS Lite cost about 40 bucks and a GBA cost ehh 20-30 dollars more or some at the same price but the GBA can has access to more library. Also, the DS plays GBA games on the bottom screen which is weird lol.
