Yeah it goes to show but look at this guys history. Unixmad or Stephane Portha is one sketchy guy and probably not a great guy overall based on a few obvious things. One being that he replicated Graal from a Zelda game and even had the nerve to name it Zelda Online at one point. Two being that his main developer, again Stefan Knorr, left the game and Stefan's new game isn't the hottest but I bet he wasn't too fond of Unixmad for probably some easy-to-understand reasons so he went to developing and marketing on his own. Three being the simple fact that the game is beyond outdated, which he probably can't even do anything about since Stefan left, and what kind of mmorpgs- Like Roblox- does not update at least something about the software in years. It's just not worth it putting so much work into something when the manager can't even put a little effort into it.
How old is Stephane? I'd say 45-50 based on his bio. I really hope he retires eventually and sells the damn game or company to someone who is actually going to utilize it to its fullest potential and reward those who aid in the uprising of something better.
You'd have to ask yourself, what kind of person would take credit for others people's work, take money from children and refuse innovation. What person in their right mind are willing to ask for $90 dollars a year and countless hours of a teenagers time and money to develop a game only to be restricted to the terms of a man who only holds the server for him? What kind of mature and professional adult would do that such things? If my grandpa did this stuff, I'd be let down severely knowing I come from corruption. What kind of reward is received if this man is not only hard to contact but also sets people in charge who demand their volunteers for their time, effort and abilities in a server where they may just be forgotten. No plaque, no monument or symbolism of those who have sacrificed grades, social life and family for a server that can't even recognize that. Those same people deserve better rewards than what they get, such as: a limited amount of virtual money, a limited amount of access to their rights and a limited amount of recognition.
How sad.
