Change my view:
Islam is not a religion of peace.

Nice. I didn't want to admit this for a while either, and then I reflected and realized that it's because I don't want to be wrongly viewed as some xenophobe, racist, etc. You come to learn that if you allow that fear to suppress what you believe is true then you're just as bad off as those who are being shackled by a religion as destructive as Islam.
I'm Atheist, but I don't try to convert anyone. If you ask me what I think of religion, I'd say it's all bad in one way or another. However, most religions in the West are pretty tame and tolerable because they've learned to interpret their religious texts and say, "Mass violence against non-believers is probably not that most humane thing, so let's try to ignore that part of the book."
If Islam is a religion of peace then what have they done to help Syria? Iran? Afghanistan? Egypt? Libya? Yemen? Nigeria? Chad? Cameroon? Saudi Arabia is the home of Mecca, and just this year they crucified someone for his peaceful protest against the government when he was 17. They are a US ally, and we're just allowing them to abuse human rights in the name of Islamic law.
I think the powers in the West have to grow some balls, finally put their foot down, and admit that Islam is one of the few evils left in the world. We're really tiptoeing around saying it to cater to the sensitivities of moderate Muslims, but it's time that even they embrace that ISIS is a the most genuine form of Islam.
