Based on the drive to do things and continued success he has at accomplishing goals of his I don't think this is quite the accurate analogy.

Just run through each and every change he promised, yes he has accomplished goals already but doesn't mean that he should become staff just because he wants to change some things. If that were the case then almost anyone should be staff if they can accomplish goals successfully and want to make a change in the game.
