Saying it "sucked" is still a pretty rude thing to say after people put time and effort into making it to the best of their ability. Would you like it if you made something you were proud of, only to be told by someone "it sucked", how do you think that'd make you feel? I understand he was giving his opinion, but he could have at least said why it sucked instead of a blatant meaningless comment.

Well if I cared a lot of my creation and someone said it sucked, I would ask why, as I care more. It's not their job to tell you. It's like in school and you're struggling. You ask the teacher for help, they don't ask you if you need help. Because if you don't ask them
why, who do you think will tell you, or who dI you think will help you?
