Ok its a 45 ib bar I did the test I benched the bar and 40 pounds which is okish

That's pretty good. Do try to work with free weights a little bit if you can too, and try to tone each muscle group. Like a lot of other lifting techniques, bench pressing uses several at once. You'll probably be using far less weight if you use free weights, though, because you won't have a bench supporting you while standing up and weight is put on each arm individually. Make sure to do the same number of reps for each arm too, obviously.
