Also, I think not changing members helps you more. You've had the top 5 or 6 players on the server, but if MK and Dante really retire, this could be a slightly harder GST for Alumni, offset by the fact that the other teams don't have their act together.

I kinda feel like it works both ways
If you keep a guild in tact, you improve just through knowing how to spar together
If you have no obligation to reward loyalty or you just feel like recruiting the 5 people who you think give you the absolute best chance, then I feel like that's a pretty significant advantage
Original team was:
- Thallen (had 1 win, 6 now)
- Eko (had 1 win, 6 now)
- Dante (had 2 wins, 7 now)
- MK (had 0 wins, 5 now)
- Hikaru (had 0, 3 now)
Went from a combined 4 total wins to a combined 17
When people say that we took the top GSers and put them together on a team, I don't really agree just based on that alone
