Looked it up. Fury X MSRP is $670 USD around here. 980ti is $670 USD. Fury X is at or above the 980ti based on the benchmarks done. Sorry fanboy.

sick research all I cared to do was amazon r9 fury which yielded an 800 dollar card sorry if I've hurt your feelings
the point I was more interested in making was unless you're buying a high end card you're not really getting a new generation of tech
considering he was using a r9 270 previously it's unlikely he's going for boutique hardware next
