probably true, but what I don't think most people entirely understand is that the recruiting process of the guild isn't just "must be a good sparrer"
people constantly say stuff to me like "why are Eko and MK and Fulgore on your Mixed team, they suck" (which isn't true), and sure those players could be replaced by better individual sparrers, but that doesn't do anything for the quality of the guild

being good at sparring doesn't make you loyal, doesn't come with a good personality, doesn't guarantee maturity, etc. - those are the things that are important to me because I've wanted to build a guild for the long-term that isn't built specifically just to win a GST
