Agreed.
When I implemented a custom AP system for Classic after the NPC server wipe, it wiped saint status as soon as you hit someone (whereas before you had to PK someone, which led to PK boosting/laming using saints as accomplices). Anyone know if that concept was integrated into the default AP system since?

Yes, if you hit anyone (bush, bomb, arrow, single sword slash) with 100 ap, your ap immediately drops to 99. Same if you hit a flag. It drops to 99 right away.
