Why is this even necessary
All I see this doing is people doing stuff like "must have joined Graal before 2011 in order to join guild" and "my account is glitched I actuslly joined in 2010"

I don't see how it's any better or worse than masses of players having "2009 player *SIGH* Graal was so much better back then" in their status?
