Look for jobs at your local school district, they often have summer temp jobs over the break. They list this sort of stuff on the district or even school websites. It may just be janitorial stuff but it's a pretty good experience, plus you can worm your way into IT or anything else they have after a summer of no problems.

The issue here isn't really money, is it? If I bought you a PS4 right now, your parents would still be pretty mad. Even if you got some scheme figured out, it sounds like maybe they don't want you on consoles so much?

It does make for a pretty nice media player...
