Cool idea, reduces the scenarios in which active members get screwed for their rewards. I know this is meant to promote basing, but like john and fatal stated, there are cons/flaws. It would be wise to monitor how players are using the system in order to prevent lamers from killing the point system.
1.Make sure the weapons, traps, etc aren't trade-able. 2.I also advise you not to make a gang bank, because the leader can have let's say 3 extra player accounts along with their real one on at the same time. The leader basically gets an advantage by having 4x the amount of gp for very few effort. Also, leaders could charge their members 25% of their Gang points to stay in the guild or rank up faster. Unless you wouldn't mind these things, then you shouldn't add a gang bank.

1. like fatal mentioned, players can use multiple accounts to get easy points from the main basing guilds. I could be on 4 at a time.
2. Any leader of a current basing guild could easily exploit the bank this way.
