Becoming admin is for people with time to loose.
Honestly, the only people who wants to be admin that bad are new players.
It doesn't give you more fun being admin than just a normal player. It gets annoying though, the billion spam pms, everyone know you and stalk you, the haters...oh wait that's the funny part. So many people ask you for dumb stuff. I mean I've never been admin, but the first month when I uploaded my first tiger custom was annoying: Spam, people asking for my stuff, people saying they'll steal my stuff, haters, having 99 notifications on graal everyday and everyone adding me for no valuable reason. I mean if annoying noobs spamming you and adding you and all that stuff is what you're looking for you don't need to become admin.
