I wouldnt mind a 1sec cooldown on bombs, but I dont like how laying a bomb now causes your player to stop moving. Shooting arrows makes you stop moving, but they instantly do damage. Bombs dont do immediate damage, so youre frozen defenseless for half a second.

Are you saying their should not be a weakness to using them? The weakness of the arrow is the freeze and it can be blocked with a shield.
The weakness of a bomb should be you are frozen defenseless for a second without immediate damage, however, the make up for that- the bomb cannot be blocked with a shield and has an aoe.
