there's dozens of reasons why but the topmost reason is crystal clear and it's because this game's management has absolutely no idea what they're doing from an administrative and marketing perspective
they are actually idiots and have never realized the potential to grow and monetize the game
Graal could have been as successful as Minecraft if handled properly, I really don't doubt this at all
it's easy to criticize, but after 16 years and never seeing a good marketing campaign, a Facebook ad, never seeing paid developers, never seeing them actually online and monitoring their game, it becomes quite obvious
I draw the comparison between Minecraft and Graal because of the similarities and benefits it brings the developers of both - Graal has the leisure of never actually needing to develop content, just like Minecraft, and the community can and will push the game to really interesting levels if the management allows it
when Era was released, alarms should have immediately went off in the brains of game management pf "wow, Graal, as a game engine, is really powerful and cool -through the level editor and GScript, people can actually create just about anything they want"
but no, they are idiots and allowed their game to fizzle out
iClassic is a core map that has existed for more years than many of you have been alive, they put in very little effort and depend entirely on the community
at this point, I'm pretty convinced that they are afraid of money and success

The few things I bolded, prove you have no idea what your talking about. Their is plenty of paid developers, their is plenty of staff the monitor the game aswell as in game reporting tools to follow up on. Maybe you should stop speculating, and find out some true facts. Only thing i agree with you is the horrible marketing campaign, and that's probably the only thing you said that was true.
