I think the problem is PC.
No one, anymore, wants to buy a PC to play a 2D game. That's what we have mobile devices for.
There's already a mobile version, so what's the point opening your laptop or starting your computer to play an old-fashioned game?
It's much more convenient playing Graal on a mobile device than a PC client.
As for your theory with new players, I don't see that being any issue at all. iOS servers get new players all the time, and no one will help anyone.
On PC, the worst that can happen is someone ignoring you. On mobile, you'll usually ask "how do I do this quest?" And get a reply "in ur moms butt lelel"
The PC servers get lower amounts of players because no one is going to take 5 minutes starting a large machine to play a 2D game.
