You'd just have the afkers in whatever nopk part of graal city is left and you'd have even more lag, and you'd have borderguarders camping at the edges on the nopk zones keeping players in, and people waiting outside doors like what happens on zodiac. I remember how assholes would harass newbies as soon as they leave balamb and got on the dock, and the people that would wait at the bottom of the unstick me and kill people trying to get into the zone...

Without a timer system there's no real solution that doesn't just cause more problems.
