It wasn't an update. I was fixing something else in the cave and decided to fix that while I was there. Was literally one line of code.
Though I dunno, I might remove it. On one hand it discourages players to get items like the lantern or draisine, on the other it encourages a social cooperation

I think it'd be best to remove it, although it does discourage players to get items like the lantern & or draisine, the players will also want to buy them if they see players with them. Eventually players do buy the items at a certain time in the game so regardless they are going to buy it so I don't think theres a problem with letting them see whats behind that wall or on the tracks to Snowtown, they'll want to do it themselves in the future.
