Games in their very nature are simply a challenge to overcome. If I am to overcome the challenge better than the average player, does that make me a cheater, or a winner?

The answer to that question is determined by many factors.
Quick example of applying that to real life:
If a fighter/athlete takes this logic and decided to use some type of steroid to "overcome the challenge better than the average" fighter/athlete would it make him a cheater or a winner.
Personally I don't see anything wrong with a program doing your farming, but I think people that use programs to speed hack and give themselves unlimited bombs and arrows are pathetic. Does that make me a hypocrite? Both are considered cheating, but I only have a problem with some of them.
