I'd disagree, typically games for phones are meant more as time occupiers/money wasters, rather than something that will keep you busy for hours. Thats not to say that there aren't games like that on Phone markets, just that it is much more common to have small entertainment games.
But tbh I think Graal is a pretty good game, especially when it comes to iPhone games, and the unorganized/unprofessional dev teams that it has. New content really shouldn't be expected every week, or even every month. I don't actually know of many games that do that anyway.
I think that the only reason that Graal gets so much criticism is because the large majority of people have no idea how the staff team works/what is going on, so they make assumptions and spread rumors. It would appear most staff that aren't in a management position have no idea what is going on even.
I'd also guess that its just the fact most people are pretty damn impatient/spoiled.
