I really didn't wanna see a recap at all and rather they continue the story. If I wanted to see a recap I would have looked back at the episodes which in my opinion is more enjoyable.

You should watch Shirobako to learn about the anime industry. There is one reason for this explained in the first episode. To release the recap episode allows the anime studio to have an extra week to work out any kinks in the later on episodes, like unfinished animations. It also allows the staff a bit of a break since they pretty much work the whole time the anime is being aired until the last episode.

It's about a time a few years after a war and supposedly the Holy Knights have eliminated the Seven Deadly Sins which were known as the strongest warriors. You start in a small bar own by what looks to be a 12 year-old. A knight in rusted armor ends up in his bar and reveals to be a girl looking for the seven deadly sins, because in recent cases the Holy Knights have been acting up and have attacked all notabilities and villagers.
