I think it would make guilds more competetive because it would bring a new thing to Graal and typically on Classic when something is new People tend to do it. I think it would also encourage people to do it since there would most likely be a prize of some sort (if you got a certain amount of hours)

Of course, no one can argue against that. There's no question that guilds would do it, it'd bring new competition, and at the very least it'd add something else for people to do.
The problem is that some people don't care about what would make Graal more interesting or active. Their main interest is making sure other people
aren't able to enjoy things. It's narcissistic people in the community who know they wouldn't do it, or wouldn't be good at it, so they don't want to see
others enjoying it.
I think the worst/funniest argument against ideas promoting competition within the community is, "This shouldn't happen because someone will be the best at it."
That type of statement is a prime example: people on Graal are very jealous, and their concern is making sure you don't have fun and get rewarded for being good at the game. It's literally
unfair to them that people who are good at something get recognition or rewarded for it on an online game. That's weird, right?
I don't catch bugs, but I definitely think the people who are the best at it should get something. I also think it should be expanded and improved upon. I'm able to say that because it's a game, games are meant to be active, competitive, and fun, and it adds something new. How can someone literally say, "No, they shouldn't get that!" I guess I'm just not a jealous person?
I think this is the same reason why there will never be support for a singles tournament. No one can come up with a reasonable explanation as to how it negatively affects the game, but 90% of people don't support it. The reason is because they'd hate to see someone else win it.
Those same people won't make their own suggestions to help improve the game, and if they do then I guarantee it'd revolve around the idea of limitations or restrictions on people. "You can only win this many hats." "You can only be this good." "You can only PK here." "You can only spar these people."
