Only an idiot would pick 2 hats over 5, even if one of the 2 is animated.

hey come on man, no need to insult santa claus
Thallen, I barely play anymore, but I'm still very aware of everything going on on the game. I spend probably 5 minutes online every other day. I don't have the time to even help a guild, let alone lead my own. I understand your argument perfectly. I would think you realize that it contradicts itself. If the 5k reward is worth it then why does nobody go to 5k, Thallen? Honestly, think about it. Why do people make 5 1k guilds instead of making one go to 5k? It speaks for itself. It isn't worth it. Only an idiot would pick 2 hats over 5, even if one of the 2 is animated.

Let me tell you how I look at towering. Maybe it will give you a different point of view.
I feel that people tower for 3 main reasons.
1. they want to be part of a tower guild(meaning a guild that towers because that is their priority in the game) these guilds would be the 2k plus.
2. want to be part of a guild going for 1k, so they can get the hat.(most likely they dont consider themselves tower guilds as that is not their priority)
3. they want to lead or be part of a guild that reaches 1k just to enjoy every aspect of the game. i never lead a guild to 1k, but I helped my friend reach it because I wanted to enjoy that part of classic.
So going back to which reward is better, I think it just depends on the reason why the person is towering. The way I see it, if youre going to sit in graal city, arena, or any other hangout spot anyways might as well do it in a tower and get a hat.
Another thing is that "real" tower guild will most likely be remembered for a long time (thx to the list) while the other two types usually get forgotten a couple days after they reach 1k. Some people see fame/status in the community as a plus.
