Battlefield didnt start competing with cod until bf3 when they began the whole rush the game before cod and dumbing down the game to attract more cod players. If you go back and play bf2. The spread on all of the guns is so bad to the point where you are better of single firing. Warp to bf4 where all the guns are laser beams and theres hardly any recoil and you can full auto a guy down at 100m if you were good enough.
