Good. The meta's settled in, and there are a lot of viable strategies as opposed to "Politoed undisputed king of OU go rain" in Gen 5. The OP MegaEvos were banned, and a lot of the new Pokemon are getting some playtime, especially Smogonbird and Smogonsword. Entry hazards are finally less prevalent. A lot of playstyles are viable. Hyper-offense was greatly aided by Sticky Web and stronger priority (Smogonbird/Bisharp/M.Mawile), stall was aided greatly by strong new clerics and reliable hazard setters like Sylveon and Deo-D respectively, weather is still viable if played correctly due to the unbanning of Swift Swim and Sand Force/Rush, balance is... well, still balanced. There's a lot more counterplay to each of these playstyles too. M.Charizard(s), M.Gyara, Smogonbird and M.Mawile pick apart hyper-offensive teams, Clefable utterly destroys stall, and weather is no longer infinite. Lots of items are viable now instead of just Life Orb/Scarf/Leftovers. Type-specific plates like Dread Plate, Assault Vest, Red Card, Rocky Helmet, Weakness Policy are just a few that are coming to light.
I was pretty bitter towards Gen 6 when it first came out due to things like M.Evos, Sticky Web and new annoying as **** Pokemon like Klefki, but now that everything's settled down it's a really nice environment.
