The AP Rippers aren't that bad. Maybe they look overpowered on paper but when you use them they are beatable. They do have a lot of perks though and can change a not so good player to decent, but I'm fine with that. I feel pretty rewarded for having to grind showdown wins to save up enough to buy the gun, it was worth when I was interested.
