How ignorant. The US invaded Iraq for it's natural resources like oil. They covered it up by saying they were looking for WMD's or 'Weapons of Mass Destruction'.

Iraq wasn't for oil, it was to ensure the petrodollar stays in use. The other plus side was taking Saddam out of power (because he was a dickhole). Of course the official reason was 'WMD', which didn't exist.
