Source (MP3 player/desktop/etc): MP3, Laptop with Beats Audio
What's above everything else? - Sound quality (but of course it can't look like a piece of garbage)

Currently I'm just using Skull Candy Aviators I got for 50 dollars on a special sale. It's at the end of its life (even though I used it for only four months, it's already wearing down). So something similar to that or has noise cancelling technology would be even better.
