Just find a nice community that has a dedicated trading forum. Back when I played on the DS I did plenty of nice trading over at Gamefaqs, and most of the people in the trading forum were nice/generous as well.

EDIT: I tried searching, not much. Mostly junk, the one I did find (neoseeker) wasn't responding(probably like pokemon.com). Ugggg
