they dont need to, you think games like angry birds would have gotten this popular if they had acted like Unixmad and Stefan? notice minecraft is only for a one time fee to buy it, and you get all this great stuff.... thats how you get people. creative games, treating the community right, good features...
look at Zenonia, imagine how much money they would make if they made that multiplayer. its alot like graal, a ltp based rpg in a medeval fantasy setting with play customation and such, look at how cheap zenonia is, imagine how much graal could make if it was like a online version of that. more content.
maybe we would get more scripters if Stefan and Unixmad would make the right choices and this game would have a future, paying some scripters instead of relying on volunteer work might help too.
as for the not making enough, and the server costing more, total bull****, there are games with much better graphics and more players AND PAID DEVS that dont cost this much to run.
if Stefan wasnt so scared of advertisements we might be better off.
apparently his own staff showing distrust in him and Unixmad still wasnt enough to get him to change.

Honestly, paid Dev staff is the only way Graal is going to see some serious and awesome improvement and motion. Volunteer work only goes so far, and I will not lose sleep over Graal if I don't "make a deadline". I'm not getting paid, so why am I caring/worrying?
Oh. I'm not.
