Mouse and keyboard is forever more accurate than conventional controllers, and PC hardware is leaps and bounds above consoles and always will be. PCs can utilize the current top-of-the-line hardware as they wish, while consoles aren't open to modifications like that.
Look at the PS4. The processors in the console are two custom AMD Jaguars x86-64 quad-core and clocks in at 1.6GHz (clock speed). The Intel i7-3770k is only a quad-core processor and has 3.5GHz before overclocking, and is a very, very common component in a lot of PC rigs today. Also, solid state drives. And Steam.
