Not that I care for sparring or the GST much but there are a few things I don't quite get.

1.why is it only the top 74 or whatever teams get in the GST?
2.Where do these teams come from or how do they determine the "top 74 teams"?
3.Not really a question more stating a fact: since they use this format or set up for the GST I'm assuming that has been why we generally get the same winning teams every time around.
4.what is the criteria for a top 74 team? and would it be to much to stretch the GST into 2 weekends? Like the 1st weekend would be qualifiers Sat + Sun to determine the field of 74. (some guilds would be able to have automatic gaurenteed spots in the GST.)
Or some kind of way for more "thrown together" teams to get into the GST.
