"Pressure" is a very broad generalization. In terms of academic pressure and peer pressure, two of the more prevalent ones in a teenager's life, generally yes to the former and no to the latter. Of course, this all depends on circumstances. Some parents are extremely fervent believer in academic success, while a few aren't. Likewise, I believe peer pressure isn't as widespread as people make it out to be, and as such, can be avoided relatively easily with a little bit of assertiveness, given you have a good choice of friends.
But, to answer the question as fairly as possible: no. Teenagers typically don't have a lot on their plate, honestly. Pressure in adolescent years typically pale in comparison to later years.
