1) you twisted most of it into a situation to suit your accusations, had you looked at the OP you would have noticed that it easnt confirmed whether they were intoxicated.
|
I haven't even quoted the OP, nor did I quote the article. You're making me believe that you're intoxicated as well. Also, the word you're looking for is
bias. The more you know, right?
2) how is it entirely his decision to drive himself? One of his friends could have offered to drive and ended up doing that. And they could easily be driving it when intoxicated, when your drunk your decisions get screwed up to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if he even let some random guy drive them.

All right, for argument's sake, let's assume that the people in the car were not intoxicated at all, and that the police's autopsy is incorrect (lol), and that for some reason "Yoteslaya" deemed it okay for someone else to drive his truck (lol) while he was probably perfectly capable of doing so himself, and that if he wasn't driving his truck - for whatever outlandish reason - that he didn't interfere with his friend attempting to race a train and didn't say a single thing. Where's the logic here? "I'm sober despite the police's autopsies and I feel like it's okay letting you drive my truck and I won't say a single thing or try to change the direction of the truck before my friend - FOR WHATEVER REASON - decided to race a train!"
Even if they weren't intoxicated, it's all the more showing that their judgment was not impaired in the slightest, and they were okay with the decision to outrun the train.
You know what then, the next time your drunk (and judging from your personality, I wouldn't expect anything under decently often), get a couple of your best friends drunk too, let you drive home with them in it, then I'll let you choose between waiting for a train or racing it. Then I'll come back to this forum, go to the thread depicting your death, and call you an imbecile for choosing such and that you shouldn't be remembered as a responsible or decent person.
|
Anyone (that's relatively smart) who regularly drinks makes it a damn good point before drinking to not have him or herself, let alone allow someone else that's drunk, to drive them home. Do you know what a designated driver is? They're wonderful things and they prevent **** like this from happening.
Tell me, even from that standpoint, would you rather you were remembered as an imbecile who raced a train, or as a decent person with good opinions and tons of friends?

I wouldn't give half of a rat's ass about what people think of me when I'm dead - do you know why? Because, like Blueh said, I'll be
dead.
See, your taking sides here. You want me to play sides too? Ok, they made the dumbass decision of getting in the truck with him. From your logic, they CHOSE to enter the car with him, making it THEIR faults.

The fault lies on Yoteslaya alone for making the decision to outrun the train -
here's a nifty article: http://tribstar.com/local/x211290400...ash-identified
Note the driver: "Those killed were
vehicle driver Brian J. Rickard, 30, and passenger Ryan Lee Cook, 24, both of Terre Haute, and passenger Ashlee Taylor Pugh, 20, of Dennison, Ill., according to a news release from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department."
There you have it.
And work on your English.
