Terraria is a great game and nothing like Minecraft. It's more of a metroidvania than anything, you just happen to be able to modify the world like Minecraft. But it's really nothing like Minecraft... in fact I wish Minecraft did more things like Terraria. Actually... Notch tried to make Minecraft more like Terraria after playing it, but failed terribly. Dungeons and the dragon were what came to Minecraft after Notch played Terraria.
