They should stay away from this:

but continue doing this:
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/images/c/c3/Zombie.png (Unsupported image host)
The dragon looks like it was made with some CAD maker...it's like having an 8-Bit game such as Zelda except Ganon is three-dimensional, that just wouldn't look right.
I mean obviously the mobs are all made in CAD, but the good mobs such as the zombie have perfectly visible pixels and they dont have smooth or rounded edges.
