The idea itself isn't bad at all, however i voted 'no.' because i feel this would be really buggy if implemented, aswell as cause problems with unwanted players just 'warping' into your home.

If the owner doesn't want any random players warping into their home, all they have to do is simply shut it off and invite players the old fashioned way. There should be a filter for warpers though. Options to disable/enable friends only allowed to use the warper, blocked players not having access whatsoever, etc. Though I won't lie, it probably will be extremely complicated because a warper will rely on settings agreed on for both parties. But, that's the players' issue to work that out anyways.
What would this teleporter/warper look like anyway? Would it be futuristic,ancient design, or would it stick with classic's tileset? |
I'd like a simple spherical portal that glows. Or just a rock or whatever that transports you when you grab it. However, if this idea ever happens I urge everyone to create fireplaces in their houses and guild houses to make those magic transporting fireplaces like in Harry Potter.
