Crashing isn't caused by bad network reception, its more the devices inability to cope with the amount of data being handled so running only one app is the go but you don't need good network reception necessarily.

That is what i was kinda meaning, but i failed at explaining it. but the more free ram the device has, the more able it is to cope with the amount of data.
