I was gonna suggest the same thing as skill, I have seen the pk cluster at swamp die down a little bit here and there and less idiots yelling at ppl to get out of the puddle or the blob wont spawn. I think the best solution would be to have it spawn randomly at 1 of 5-6 locations.

I also think if it was done this way you should be able to collect spoils every time it spawns, as long as there is a good hour or so between spawns. So everybody gets a better chance to get the hat and mount before the blob gets taken away.
