Okay 2 things. Number one you CAN turn off the battery notification by going in the settings and turning on "airplane mode" once you've turned on airplane mode go into your wifi settings and turn it back on.
My second point is that they made you warp away because people were abusing a bug that made you win etc, the solution to this was to kick them from the event house.

Also people would afk in there and make it laggier.
You could turn on banners (iPad 2+ and iPod 4+ only I think). if your device doesn't have banners, I don't know what to say besides charge it more, sorry
