so im not debating with you on this subject anymore as it will always produce the same results.

You know my opinion on Minecraft yet you initiated this anyways.
|
The Ender dragon fight is awesome in my opinion. I participated in a dragon raid with 15 other people the other day and I have to say its the most fun I have ever had in a game for a long time.
|
Glad you like fighting a boss that does nothing but fly away, has a ton of health, destroys everything you build, and constantly heals. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Sure, the eggs are incomplete. Thats just laying out for updates in the future, because minecraft is never finished. This release is just a milestone where the developers feel there is enough content for it to be considered a full game.
|
It's marketed as a full game now, but they couldn't even bother to finish the end game. Oh, and
anything. Everything is half-finished and half-implemented. They didn't even fix most of the bugs they dedicated the last month to a feature freeze for. You know why? Because they were rushing to get crap done for Minecon. NPC's aren't expected to be done for a year, or
more. I don't consider the current state to be a full game because it's quite obvious they rushed and pushed out incomplete content just to meet deadlines so they can raise the price.
This is a screenshot of what they're selling full-price now:

They're well aware of this, and actually responded that they don't intend to fix it.

You can always find a negative side to anything, and from what i have seen with your opinions i think you want to look at minecraft in the most negative way
|
No, you perceive that I have this only negative outlook on Minecraft for a reason I can only assume is bias. Like I have said many times my problem with Minecraft is that it had so much potential to be insanely more awesome it currently is and they ****ed it up by slacking off after the money came in.
Notch hasn't kept his word on a
single promise he has made since he started his company. When Minecraft was in Alpha he constantly provided players with a list of guidelines that would define when Minecraft would be suitable for Beta. This included SMP being bug-free and played identical to single-player. All of that was disregarded and Minecraft was rushed to Beta for the Halloween update. Surprise, Halloween update only contained about half of the announced updates as well. Rushed because they wanted Minecraft to be Beta because it would mean a price increase. The same thing is happening with the Full release now and that annoys the hell out of me.
