The option isn't for an Events Bot. It is when a staff member hosts because we were receiving complaints. It is automatically disabled (like tash said) but I can force the option on for people on the server (but I dislike this way of forcing).
I am thinking of this: once every day a notification pops up letting you know that you have event PMs disabled and you can enable it in the options which you can easily ignore it for 15 seconds.
