These colors have been what they were since Graal was made. The problem with changing them is that they're already imbedded in the usage that they have provided since day one. As it's been said, orange has been used as a skin color, even by default, and changing it to an actual orange would ruin lots of players looks.

It's simply too late to change these colors, and as I said almost all html all standard colors are available in v6(which the iPhone servers are running). Why these haven't been provided to the iPhone players I don't know.
