I think that Delteria is splitting the community by releasing its own forums. The majority of the iOS community is already here, so, to me, it makes much more sense just to go with these forums rather than attempt to split the community in two. Personally, I probably won't use the Delteria forums that much or even at all, and I would be much more inclined to post in them if they were somewhere familiar such as here. Delteria has told me in the past that they're doing this to allow themselves to integrate in-game statistics, etc. into the forums, but they've never been able to tell me why they can't do that here. (Simply put, they can't.) At this point, it seems to me that Delteria is just intent on dominating on forum power. What they don't realize is that they don't need to. They have everything they need already here.
There's a reason I like these forums... It's a great program that really does bring the community together, and I think by attempting to work against it, you're really hurting the community. Why not embrace that instead of trying to compete against it? Isn't it a good thing to bring the community together?
(And as far as Emera's post goes, are there really any instances of bad forum moderation here at all? Other than the ones in the Zone forum which is completely irrelevant to Delteria's interests? You can't let personal spite get in the way of good opportunities; it's just going to hurt you in the long run.)
