Also, don't assume that overworld was better because it has visually more to it. A lot of the old overworld was filled via player content. In fact, most of what you know of the Classic overworld was made by players--most of the towns and quests were made by players. That being said, most of the overworld were just player houses, and player houses don't really have anything worth checking out(for example, check out playerhouses that have remained in Graal City. There's really nothing in them.
