Is this a joke or wut? People don't act like Pokemon has never been rendered in 3D. People act like Pokemon has never had an actual adventure/rpg game in 3D... which isn't entirely accurate either. There have been games like Gale of Darkness that tries to do some sort of true adventure game; I haven't played it though. Point is people want a true Pokemon RPG in 3D, and not a spin-off; but that's effort and at this point they're much more comfortable releasing the same thing every year because it's safer.

Coliseum is as much of an RPG as the original titles are. I never played GoD so I can't say much for that game.
