Fact: there was a famous cult that believed that the world was going to end and the second coming of Christ would come. It didn't happen. Then they said their calculations were wrong. Then on that date it didn't happen either, so they spewed the regular religious crap about how it came in spirit and that it was a metaphor and he had come,

Today they still exist as the 7th day Adventists.

So yea, every century or so people predict the end of the world. It never happens and never will. Zombie outbreaks in fact are scientifically disproven.
