You have no proof, therefore her account doesn't need to be shutdown. Stop jumping to circumstances. Mayu may of said that her parents will not be buying her an iDevice, but over the time she has been offline anything could have happened.

How do you know her parents didn't change their minds?
How do you know she hasn't brought an iDevice with her own money?

For all we know she could be using her brother/sisters/parents/friends iDevice and be checking up on that.

Yes, it's a possibility that she was hacked. But it is also a possibility her parents might of changed their minds etc.
